Arnaud Mussotte

Arnaud is an Technical Director working on a number of projects across the UK and internationally. These include new buildings and refurbishing or reconfiguring existing buildings. He has worked on a range of different buildings including shopping centres, office, mixed use, leisure, residential, historical, education, and healthcare buildings. He has experience with some of the largest shopping complexes in Europe and Middle East for which he has proven his ability in developing coherent fire strategies based local and international standards and best practice. These include the use of the NFPA codes and the French/Algerian guidance.

Arnaud has developed fire engineering solutions using both standard and advanced techniques such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). He has used Fire Dynamic Simulator (FDS) software to model a three-story atrium provided with smoke control. This showed that tenable conditions were maintained for a longer period, thereby allowing an increased safe evacuation time.
