Michael D. Lejeune

Michael Lejeune is a Project Engineer who has extensive technical experience in the investigation and analysis of fires, explosions, and product failures. The foundation for his forensic engineering investigations is derived from his Mechanical Engineering degree, post graduate studies in fire protection engineering, and previous work experience in the pulp and paper industry, building code consulting and working as a test engineer in the fuel cell industry. Mr. Lejeune has conducted hundreds of field investigations, evidence examinations and third-party reviews related to fires in residential structures, commercial buildings, industry facilities, heavy equipment and vehicles. He is able to delineate his analysis into regular updates that permit clients to make timely and informed decisions. Michael has utilized his background in building code consulting in the review of fire and building code requirements to fire incidents to assess the effect of improper construction and combustible storage on fire spread and resulting damage.
