Mary is the Director for Fire Safety and Litigation in the Dublin office, ensuring the technical standard of projects. Mary leads the JH UKI Fire Engineering Litigation Team for internal and external building defects work.

Mary is a Chartered Engineer with extensive experience in the construction industry, managing fire engineering services for major projects across Ireland, the UK, South America and the Middle East. She leads teams providing fire safety design, fire engineering, design reviews and authority liaison to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope of works and budget. Her technical expertise includes fire life safety code consulting, egress analysis, site supervision and signing off on various project types. Her experience includes a wide range of projects, including highspeed rail and metro systems, airports, high-rise residential buildings, industrial and commercial developments. She has worked as a site engineer, carried out inspections on a wide variety of building and construction projects providing fire risk assessment services and fire safety audits. She has led and assisted in a number of legal cases relating to building defects and is ETAPAEWE accredited at a level 7 (Masters level) BTEC. She has been involved in matters involving residential buildings, assembly buildings, hospitals and student accommodation, working and advising both claimants and defendants.
