Francisco Saldarriaga, PE, PhD is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with diverse experience in mechanical engineering, product design, failure analysis and fire investigation. He provides litigation support and expert testimony to law firms and insurance companies and technical support to manufacturers and industrial clients.
Mr. Saldarriaga has experience in mechanical design, product feasibility and development and manufacturing of consumer durable goods. Mr. Saldarriaga conducts evaluation services which include failure analysis of industrial equipment, commercial kitchen ventilation systems, HVAC, fire investigations and fire suppression systems.
He also performs analysis of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, fluid flow behavior, heat transfer and combustion and flame structure analysis in manufacturing processes to evaluate performance and/or determine failure origin and cause for events that result in fires, property losses and/or injuries.
