Kevin has extensive experience in the design, specification, and review of a wide variety of fire protection and fire alarm systems. His substantial experience with large-scale industrial and government projects covers all aspects of fire and life safety. He is a principal member of multiple NFPA technical committees. Recent notable projects include fire protection design and evaluation for a wide variety of oil & gas facilities, fire protection engineer of record services for large Navy infrastructure projects, and numerous commercial fire protection and fire alarm design projects for various size projects.

Kevin’s experience also includes building and fire code consulting and design concepts, as well as fire protection and life safety evaluations involving many types and classifications of facilities. He has substantial field experience, and is familiar with the installation, inspection, and testing of a broad range of fire protection equipment. Kevin has participated in cause/origin fire scene reconstructions as part of ongoing litigation cases. He has performed fire protection and life safety system analyses, evaluations of hazardous material, and inspection/testing of fire protection systems. He has designed and specified fire suppression systems, both water-based and special hazard, as well as fire detection and occupant notification fire alarm systems.
