Kimberly Powers, PE, is a Senior Fire Protection Engineer with 17 years’ experience. Her expertise includes building life safety, structural fire protection, code compliance, and design of fire protection systems. Ms. Powers earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and her Master’s Degree in Fire Protection Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
She is a licensed fire protection engineer in MA, RI, CT and NY and also holds an NCEES P.E. certification in civil and fire protection engineering. Prior to joining JENSEN HUGHES, Ms. Powers worked as a structural engineer designing commercial buildings, working closely with architects designing unique, one-of-kind residences and contributing to the fire protection program at a government DoE laboratory.
Her diverse building and project background provides her clients with a holistic approach to building design, construction and property management.
