BALTIMORE, MD – Jensen Hughes (the “Company”), the global market leader in fire protection engineering, fire code consulting and related life safety services, announced that it has completed the acquisition of CASE Forensics Corporation (“CASE”). CASE, headquartered in Seattle with nine offices throughout the Western U.S., is an industry leader in providing forensic science and engineering consulting services to risk managers, property owners, manufacturers, attorneys, insurance companies and various government entities. CASE’s multidisciplinary team of consultants, architects, scientists and engineers provide scientific analysis, forensic & laboratory testing, and litigation support and expert testimony services for complex technical situations. Jensen Hughes is majority-owned by Gryphon Investors, a middle market private equity firm based in San Francisco, which purchased the Company in partnership with management in December 2015. This is the third acquisition that Jensen Hughes has completed in 2016. Terms of this transaction were not disclosed.
Jensen Hughes and CASE are two of the leading firms in the forensic science and engineering consulting industry and this combination increases the technical expertise and resources available to both firms. This acquisition further supports Jensen Hughes’ specialized science, research, and litigation consulting services which the Company provides worldwide through its more than 70 offices in North America, Asia and the Middle East.
